Jeff Vidricksen - Groomsman
Name: Jeff Vidricksen

Age: 26

Hometown: Wichita, KS

Tell me about yourself... Jeff is a caring father and adoring husband. He is currently working as a teller at Intrust Bank. He will receive a bachelor's degree in paralegal studies in April. Jeff also has a continuing passion for music. Writing songs, composing music, singing and playing guitar are among his most beloved things to do. He can be heard spouting nonsense on The Basement Show along with Brett and the rest of those Basement Show fellows.

Update: Jeff has since graduated from college and recently was hired at a local law firm. Congrats Jeff! --Brett

How long have you known Brett? I've known Brett for over ten years.

How did you and Brett meet? Brett was helping a couple of friends, Brian and Justin, record music for their new band. If you knew Brian, it wouldn't be long before you would meet me, and vice versa. It's funny because I had seen Brett at school before we met and just assumed that he was a jock and a bully!

What is your favorite thing about Brett? Brett is one of the funniest people I know. His humor isn't the highest of comedies, but it is the funniest!

What is your least favorite thing about Brett? Brett has a nickname: 20% Brett. If you invite him somewhere, and he says he might make it, unless it's really important, you have about a 1-in-5 chance of seeing him.

Describe Brett in three words:Makes me laugh or Gave me Xbox or Mister Computer Wizard or Wise Cracker Genius

What is your funniest memory of Brett? In our younger days, Brett, Brian and I had some odd ideas about how to have fun. My favorite memories of oddball happiness came from our "Yard Art Relocation Program". In the dead of night, we three would sneak out of my parents house. Once we conquered this task of stealth and stupidity, we were "free" to roam the streets of Goddard looking for pieces that needed some relocation. Cement and plastic deer, rabbits and such were fine, but we were really on a quest for the holy grail of yard art: the elusive "lawn gnome". To see our reaction upon finding a lawn gnome, you'd think we had hit the jackpot. After harvesting the gnome from the yard of an unsuspecting homeowner, a life we considered unfit for such a glorious creature, we granted them a location of slightly more prominence: in front of the Goddard city pool facing Main Street in Goddard. At one time, we would have as many as ten pieces, arranged for maximum visibility, in front of the pool. It was never long before the compilation was dismantled and we'd have to start all over again.

Do you have any last words of wisdom for Brett before he gets married? The wedding will go by in a flash. Enjoy it. And as you catch your breath, and for those first moments alone together, rejoice in the brand new feeling of looking forward to the rest of your life, not by yourself, but with your best friend.
